Part of the artist's "Heirloom" collection	The Knoop (Dutch for knot) coffee table combines the fluidity of a drawn line with the simplicity of a cube. Hundreds of feet of resin-impregnated rope are arranged into a frame, curing to form a firm foundation for the 24" square glass top	Shady is a headboard designed with vertical wood slats that subtly mimic and honor the forest origins of the material. The headboard and platform bed are constructed with solid wood combined with FSC certified veneer over strong Europly, and finished with a silky smooth Danish oil finish.

Various wood scraps, off-cuts and excess supply from local shops are collected and patterned into tabletops and stands. The intricate patchwork patterns created from a variety of wood tones and textures beg to be inspected at close range.	Hand painted on lacquered wood with buttermilk glazes, then finished with satin catalyzed lacquer. No wood shows. Alcohol and water resistant.
